About Us: The Company

Proudly Aboriginal Owned and Operated!!

World Indigenous Cultural Exchange & Development Organisation (WICEEDO) is a private Aboriginal owned and operated enterprise with a number of subsidiary businesses. Although an enterprise it does however incorporate Aboriginal community development philosophies and frameworks, with social justice issues underpinning our business philosophy and management plans. To enhance our ability to maintain these philosophies, WICEEDO has adopted a Global Generic Development Model recognised by OxFam International. Where by Indigenous Cultural, Economic and Social capital are considered when developing projects and programs with and for Indigenous peoples.

WICEEDO has a number of diverse business networks both domestically and internationally. These business interests include but are not limited to Carbon Trading, Community Housing and Construction, Indigenous themed Café's and Restaurants franchising, Aboriginal Employment and Training brokerage, Workforce Training and Development including Cultural Awareness training.

Our most recent venture has taken us to China, where we have established a supply chain with a number of Chinese companies and an Australian Chinese Quality Assurance partner. These relationships provide us with the ability to provide quality, affordable and sustainable community housing in Australia.

WICEEDO’s Carbon Trading arm, Carbonculcha has developed a bio diverse model that provides for infrastructure capital, skill development, business model structures and ongoing support for sustainable harvest food forests, via brokered contributions from the corporate sector wanting to offset their carbon emissions. Negotiated capital will be utilised for infrastructure and other community capacity development opportunities.

The Carbonculcha projects intrinsically links the establishment of bio diverse carbon sinks and or renewable energy projects on Aboriginal lands with native food (Bushtucker) production, processing, packaging and supply through to a transferable Indigenous themed cuisine Café \Restaurant “Eat It Wild” franchise. It is envisaged that the Franchise becomes the vehicle as the end user and retailer of the products, with communities integral to the supply chain maintaining autonomy as sub contractors to the Brand.

These business opportunities provide ongoing training and employment opportunities for Aboriginal people in all facets of the construction, agriculture, retail, hospitality, tourism and catering industries, whilst also providing a cost effective alternative to the housing shortage in Aboriginal communities.

WICEEDO has a workforce development and training business “Corporate Culcha”. Corporate Culcha is the Indigenous Workforce, Training and Development arm of WICEEDO. It has been established to support Corporate Australia to build their Indigenous Workforce. Corporate Culcha collaborates with the client to develop culturally competent strategies to firstly, engage, and then recruit and retain Indigenous staff. Our services support the enhancement of companies’ current organisational cultures, to be more inclusive and accessible to Indigenous peoples, therefore incorporating a Corporate Culcha!

The company Business model incorporates industry experts as Non Executive Board members to support competent decision making.

WICEEDO further supports Aboriginal peoples through a Community Development Trust fund which will be supported through 5% of profits from WICEEDO Enterprises. The trust fund will focus on providing scholarships for Aboriginal youth to support them in attaining qualifications, skills and knowledge across the agricultural, retail, hospitality, tourism, construction and cultural heritage sectors.

The Logos

Indigenous Australian culture is tens of thousands of years old. It is regarded as the oldest living culture in the world.

In traditional Australian Aboriginal art, a circle of dots depicts a meeting place, where families and tribes would come together. The horseshoe images are used to represent people sitting down at a gathering.

Our logos highlight the company's identity, our Indigenous heritage and cultural links to community and family. They acknowledge who we are, and what we stand for. Whilst depicting a broader theme of ‘coming together’ of global cultures with common goals and visions.

Although different in colour, they maintain the 'coming together' theme.
